Golf Sim Ledger sets no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies. That is why you don’t see a cookie banner here: there is nothing to accept or decline.
What this site stores in your browser
- Cookies we set: none.
- Browser storage for the site to work. Your sim builder answers and picks are saved in your browser so they survive a refresh. They stay on your device and are never sent to us.
- A random tab id. While a tab is open, a random id in that tab’s session storage lets us count a visit as one visit instead of several page views. It is not a cookie, it is gone when you close the tab, and it is not used if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
How we count visits without cookies
Our own first-party system counts page views, clicks, scroll depth, time on page, device type, country and the referring site. It uses no cookies and stores no IP address. Visitors are counted with an anonymous code that changes every day. Nothing is shared with advertising companies. Details are in the privacy policy.
Cloudflare
The site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (for example __cf_bm) to tell people from automated traffic. It is not used for advertising. See Cloudflare’s cookie policy.
When you click through to a seller
Seller links may be affiliate links. Some go through Sovrn Commerce, an affiliate network that redirects the click and adds tracking so a purchase can be credited to us. When you click one, Sovrn and the seller may set their own cookies on their own sites, under their own policies (Sovrn’s privacy policy). That happens only after you choose to leave this site. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we send you straight to the seller with no affiliate tracking added. More in our disclosure.
Your choices
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser and we record only that a page was viewed, and add no affiliate tracking to seller links.
- Clear this site’s data in your browser settings to remove the saved builder answers.
- Block or delete cookies from sellers and affiliate networks in your browser settings; this site works the same either way.
